Small businesses are easy to start, but can quickly get out of hand. I will help you setup the financial systems and processes to keep the management simple so you can focus on your business itself.
Setting up a business
I will file all of the paperwork to create your corporation and register it with the appropriate government agencies.
Bookkeeping for non-bookkeepers
I can set up a simple bookkeeping system for you that requires little to no maintenance, basically running itself. The bookkeeping "work" is simply generating reports when needed.
Electing S-Corporation status
You may find that filing as an S-Corporation is more suitable to your personal and business circumstances. We can discuss the pros and cons to help you make this decision. If you choose this, I will prepare the paperwork to make it happen.

As an owner-employee, you can be eligible for other benefits. I can identify these for you and help you weigh the pros and cons.
Payroll
I handle all the paperwork, keeping up to date with the latest changes, and watching the deadlines so you can focus on your employees and your business.
You give me your payroll info and I calculate the paychecks and the taxes, and track the deductions. You can write the checks yourself or I can do that for you. I can do direct deposit to the employee's bank account. I can pay your federal and state taxes, and file your federal and state reports, including the W-2s at the end of the year. I give you copies to give to the employees.

I also offer 1099-Misc services. All I need is the W-9 info and amount paid for each contractor. I file the reports with the IRS and give you copies to give to the contractors.
